I’ve been working within the travel industry for nearly four decades—but I fell in love with travel long before I “turned pro”! My mom was a flight attendant, and I was always fascinated by the pictures and stories she’d share.

 

I got my first real taste of travel when I studied abroad in London—and I knew even then travel would play a central part in my life. A stint in travel school led to several careers in the travel industry; over the decades, I’ve planned corporate travel for executives and VIPs, managed travel agencies in the mid-Atlantic, and worked in operations and client service for luxury hotels. 

 

In 2021, I decided to return to my roots: planning vacations for travelers craving effortless cultural immersion. Working within the travel industry for so long has allowed me to build up a strong network of “insider” travel contacts across the globe. I rely on them, along with my own extensive personal travel experience, to plan seamless escapes for my clients today.

 

Because I’ve seen first-hand how the world of travel has changed over the decades. You may remember the days when you couldn’t even book a plane ticket without the help of a travel agent! Of course, today, the opposite is true: there are so many tools and resources out there for travelers … that it feels like an impossible task to know what information to trust.
